Zephyr Teachout may run for office again

She’s got the political bug.

Zephyr Teachout — the little-known Fordham University law professor who gave Gov. Andrew Cuomo a run for his money in last week’s Democratic primary — said she’s thinking about another bid for either citywide or statewide office.

“I love New York. I got the bug,” Teachout told The Post Wednesday.

“I would consider both statewide or citywide office.”

Teachout mulling another run for public office is sure to get attention, since she captured more than a third of the vote and attracted thousands of grassroots donors in her primary challenge to Cuomo in what was her first campaign.

Teachout, a lawyer and Brooklyn resident who is promoting her new book, “Corruption in America,” conceded when a reporter asked her that the office of state attorney general has appeal because of her interest in tackling economic inequality and monopolies.

She also said she may sit out the governor’s race and not endorse fellow Democrat Cuomo before the Nov. 4 general election.

“It’s unlikely that I’ll endorse anyone,” Teachout said
