Crashes between cyclists and pedestrians spun out of control last year, with 316 injuries citywide, up from 244 in 2012.
And Central Park saw the most injuries, city Department of Transportation stats show.
Last year, 20 pedestrians were hurt by cyclists in the park. Only the Midtown South precinct had as many injuries.
The injury toll for Central Park pedestrians was higher in 2012, with 29 hit by cyclists.
By comparison, 21 pedestrians were injured by bicycles in all of Queens that year.
Stats for 2014 were not available, but Central Park has already seen two tragic bike- pedestrian crashes this year.
In addition to Thursday’s tragic injury of Connecticut mom Jill Tarlov, a 75-year-old Brooklyn Tech physics teacher was killed in the park last month by a cyclist swerving to avoid a pedicab.
“It’s outrageous really, just horrendous,” said veteran pedestrian-safety advocate Bette Dewing, of Manhattan.
“Cyclists still don’t get it.”
