He’s the world’s largest Internet sensation — literally.
Larry Evans, a morbidly obese man from St. Louis in his late 30s, made a life-changing decision to start getting fit after his weight ballooned to about 794 pounds.
He began posting short video clips of his workouts online with positive messages such as “get fit don’t quit” and “shh do work.”
Now about 140 days into his mission to improve his health, he’s shed 154 pounds and gained a multitude of fans.
The last video Evans posted has been viewed 16 million times, received 500,000 likes on Facebook and, at last count, 73,000 comments.
His page has more than 45,000 followers, with most posting encouraging comments on Evans’ videos.
Evans has a simple message for anyone who visits his page: “Please don’t judge me. If you don’t have nothing to say nice keep it to yourself. Get up get out and do something.”
By the looks of his Facebook profile — which shows significant weight loss — Evans is doing just that.
