A straphanger was saved by other riders after the man tumbled onto the tracks at a Brooklyn station Tuesday, officials said.
The man was standing on the elevated platform at the Cleveland Street station in Cypress Hills waiting for a J train around 1 p.m. when he somehow fell and landed in the tracks, cutting his head, the MTA said.
Several good Samaritans came to the injured man’s aid by hopping onto the tracks and lifting him back onto the platform before a train could pull into the station.
The man refused medical attention.
