A wild crowd caused a ruckus inside a Brooklyn deli, ransacking the store and even assaulting a worker, cops and video surveillance reveals.
The incident happened at the Jewish-owned Gourmet Butcher on Troy Avenue and Carroll Street in Crown Heights around 9 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
A video obtained by CrownHeights.info shows the large group of men walking into the store, knocking over and damaging boxes and other goods.
At one point, a man struck a 23-year-old deli worker in the face, cops said.
Video surveillance captured outside the deli shows at least 25 suspects who charged into the store as two unsuspecting workers inside stood defenseless.
Then a worker picked up a phone to dial 911.
That’s when the vandals ran outside and fled.
Police said no arrests have been made, and the victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Multiple calls to Gourmet Butcher were not immediately answered or returned early Tuesday.
