Ellen donates $10K to Bengals player for daughter’s cancer fight

Talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres is the latest to make a generous financial contribution to Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still to help him pay for his daughter Leah’s cancer treatments.

Still appeared on Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” via satellite and updated everyone on his 4-year-old’s condition.

“She’s doing good. She just finished up her third round of chemo. This one kinda hit her hard because she didn’t bounce all the way back from her surgery, but she’s a fighter and she’s gonna continue to fight,” he said.

Still also talked about Leah wanting to become a nurse when she grows up so she could help other cancer patients — and shared a funny story about Leah being a “Selfie Queen.”

DeGeneres, who was wearing Still’s jersey, then told Still she was donating $10,000 to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
