An unholy thief believed to be linked to several church break-ins was caught in the act in a place of worship in Brooklyn Thursday, police sources said.
Jesus Soler,50, was nabbed on 59th Street near 7th Avenue in Sunset Park around 2:30 a.m. with two laptops in tow, police sources said.
He allegedly pried open a side door at the St. Lutheran Brethren church with a large screw driver and swiped the laptops, cops said.
He was allegedly caught by police with the two devices in a backpack outside the house of worship.
Soler has been charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, possession of burglar tools, and criminal trespassing, cops said.
He was caught with the large screwdriver in his back pocket, cops said.
While a police source confirmed Soler is a suspect in several church break-ins near 4th Avenue, he has only been charged in this incident so far, cops said.
