New app brings infamous ‘Clueless’ closet to life

Fashionistas know firsthand that planning the perfect outfit is too often a daunting task.

From selecting the right accessories to factoring in the weather, picking out the everyday ensemble is stressful to say the least.

Plan and save your ensemble based on the forecast.ClosetSpace

Enter: ClosetSpace.

Developed by Stylitics, ClosetSpace is a free mobile app for iOS and Android devices that offers a lot more bells and whistles than other online fashion programs. Through five key features, the digital platform gives users the chance to enhance their personal style in a variety of ways.

With the “My Lookbook” feature, users can draw outfit inspiration from more than 135 prominent fashion bloggers, and it helps users select looks depending on the occasion and the weather forecast.

Additionally, the “My Items” element allows individuals to organize their virtual closets by keeping tabs on pieces they purchase online and products they already own. By uploading photos of these types of items, a “My Outfits” feature enables users to build or plan ensembles accordingly.

But instead of simply saving a look or two, ClosetSpace’s “My Calendar” component can also sync to one’s Google Calendar, noting the date an outfit was worn, ranging from the clothes to the accessories.

Though managing clothing via Google Calendar is impressive, discount specials offered by ClosetSpace’s partners, including the beauty-centric Glam Squad and Rachel Zoe’s mobile Covet Fashion game, takes things up a notch.

Discounts and digital style direction? Let’s see Cher Horowitz’s closet do that.
