What a horse’s ass!
A drunk man allegedly slapped a police steed on the rump in Times Square — nearly causing the horse to toss its cop rider, police sources said Wednesday.
Victor Flores, 32, of The Bronx, allegedly spooked one of New York City’s Four-legged Finest — Recruit II — at West 47th and Seventh Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to police sources.
The jolted horse could have tossed his human partner, Officer Jabez Kong, into the crowed street or oncoming traffic, police sources said.
Flores was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and drug possession after he was searched and found to be carrying a bag of cocaine, police said.
“I don’t get it, tourists pet the horses all the time. I don’t get why I am in trouble for this. I was just saying hello,” Flores reportedly told cops. He added, “I’m really sorry officer. I was drunk.”
Flores, released without bail Wednesday, told The Post: “I didn’t hurt the horse. I was petting him.”
