An all-white, Michael Kors-clad Nina Garcia reminisced about her last “Cinderella moment” at JCPenney’s luxe breakfast Wednesday at the New York Palace to celebrate the brand’s collab with the new Disney film, opening March 13.
“Every time that I dress for an event I feel like a Cinderella,” said the Project Runway judge, who was on hand alongside Katie Holmes and designer Charlotte Ronson to judge fashion students’ sketches of modern-day, fairy-tale looks. “That moment I take away the work and mom and turn into something else. I think it’s that power of transformation that makes a woman feel like Cinderella, even at my age.”
