The 15-year-old Swedish tourist with Asperger’s Syndrome missing since Friday night has been found and reunited with his father, officials confirmed.
Marcus Kerttu was recognized by MTA police officers at Penn Station around 1:15 a.m., Sunday.
The teen and his dad had separated around 7:50 p.m., Friday, at a Chinatown McDonald’s when Marcus wandered outside while his father was in the restroom, police sources said.
The father desperately searched the area around the McDonald’s, as well as their West 32nd Street hotel, and alerted authorities after his efforts proved fruitless, sources said.
Marcus was found just hours after cops released a missing poster saying he’d been seen riding the 2, 5, and N trains.
