A former Yankees employee was behind some of the vulgar tweets directed at Gabby Schilling.
Sean MacDonald, who was a part-time ticket taker, was fired by the team Monday after former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling outed him and others in a scathing blog post.
Yankees PR director Jason Zillo told NJ Advance Media that MacDonald worked “about 18 hours over four days” for the Yankees.
“We have zero tolerance for anything like this,” he told the website. “We’ve terminated him.”
