The largest penthouse in DUMBO’s One John Street, ―a luxe 42-unit condominium on the nabe’s last waterfront development site,― hit the market last week asking $8.8 million, making it one of the borough’s priciest condos on the market, according to StreetEasy.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom, 3,657-square-foot unit boasts three sides of exposure through 26 oversized windows.
There’s an open living, dining and kitchen area, ― which alone measures 1,100 square feet,― that looks out to the Manhattan skyline, as well as a study in the master suite.
But the cherry on top is the apartment’s landscaped rooftop terrace. Karen Heyman, Alan Heyman, and Ted Oyama of Sotheby’s International are marketing this property.
But the spot has plenty of other company in the borough’s luxury market. Read on for a look at the other ritzy Brooklyn condos that round out the priciest on the market right now.

One of the bedrooms was duplexed to create an extra play area or study space, according to the listing, which Corcoran’s Leslie Marshall and James Cornell have. There’s also a corner living room and an additional entertainment area with wet bar and wine storage. An indoor parking space is included.
