The feds on Wednesday sold the Long Island mansion they seized from the brother of Ponzi schemer Bernie for $3.5 million, said Eric Timberman, acting US marshal for the Southern District of New York.
The feds got $300,000 above the asking price.
“We had multiple bids on the property,” said Douglas Elliman broker Maria Babaev.
The lavish Georgian colonial at 34 Pheasant Run in Old Westbury sits on four acres, with a pool and tennis court. The buyer is a local family, sources said.
Peter bought the home 20 years ago, Babaev said.
