The office workers whose public sex romp was caught on camera and shared around the world are no longer employed by the Christchurch insurance firm they were in.
The pair have not returned to work since the late night affair on January 30, which was photographed and filmed by people at the busy Carlton Bar opposite the office building.
A spokeswoman for insurance company Marsh Ltd told The New Zealand Herald the company “could not provide any comment” on the conclusions of its internal inquiry into the incident.
The office sex romp was not the first encounter between the 50-year-old married senior manager and the 25-year-old woman, but confidentiality agreements prevent all parties from speaking, The New Zealand Herald understands.
It is not known whether the man involved is still with his wife.
The woman is keeping a low profile. Both refused to speak to media when asked for comment this week.
At the time of the incident, the former fiance of the woman involved told a New Zealand radio station the situation “was sad for everyone involved really”.
He said his former lover was “a really nice person”.
“She never made any mistakes, but unfortunately she made this one and it’s gone worldwide.”
