Cops busted the man who fatally gunned down a foe in his own Queens doorway, police sources said.
Police nabbed Darnell Green, 18, Saturday for the fatal shooting of Isaiah Lee, also 18.
Lee was at his home in the Hammel Houses on Beach Channel Drive in Arverne when he heard somebody knocking on his door at about 12:45 p.m., law enforcement sources said.
When Lee cracked open the door, the gunman pumped bullets into his head and chest before running off.
Sources said the shooting may have stemmed from a fight over a woman.
Lee died at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.
Green had been busted for robbery last month, police said.
Neighbors remembered Lee as a good kid who loved to shoot hoops on the complex’s basketball courts.
“He never was a troublemaker,” said friend Carleen Mitchell.
“It’s just sad…[to lose] a young life, a good life.”
Charges were still pending, cops said.
