Mastering Plinko is one way to win big on “The Price Is Right” — and another is to have one of the show’s models give you the grand prize for free.
During Thursday’s episode of the long-running game show, a lucky contestant named Andrea was asked to correctly guess the price of a Hyundai Sonata from five choices. After guessing incorrectly on the first attempt, model Manuela Arbelaez accidentally removed the $21,960 tag revealing the actual price of the car.
Though Arbelaez tried to cover up the Win card, host Drew Carey knew the only way out of this one was to give Andrea the keys to her new ride. While the “winner” celebrated with Carey on stage, the red-faced beauty tried to hide her embarrassment by sneaking off.
Despite her on-screen oops, Arbelaez confirms CBS brass aren’t deducting $22,000 from her latest paycheck. In fact, the “Price Is Right” brood is helping her laugh it off.
Next time you “come on down” to contestant’s row, pray that Arbelaez is present.
