A teen was gunned down in the West Bronx on Sunday, cops said. José Velasquez, 19, was shot three times in the torso and neck at Walton and Burnside avenues at around 3:30 a.m., police said.
EMS rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops said. Authorities believe he was he intended target. The shooter has not been apprehended.
Police are looking for the Morrisania brute who beat a man while robbing him of his cellphone. The 6-foot, 240-pound thief punched the victim, 37, at around 9:30 p.m. March 29, cops said.
The victim fell to the ground, and the hulking robber kicked him before grabbing his LG cellphone and taking off, cops said. The thug has brown eyes and short hair and was wearing white sneakers, jeans and a dark long-sleeved shirt.
A thug robbed a livery driver at gunpoint in Morris Heights, authorities said Sunday. The crook hailed the cab on Hall Place near East 165th Street in Foxhurst at around 5 p.m. March 25 and asked to be taken to a Morris Heights apartment building, police said. When the vehicle arrived at the building on Undercliff Avenue near West 174th Street, the creep pulled a gun on the hack, cops said. The hood snatched $350 from the driver, then hopped out of the car and fled, police said. The crook is believed to be in his 20s and between about 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10.

A gun-toting goon knocked over a Crown Heights bodega last Tuesday, his second strike in the neighborhood in two weeks, cops said. The crook walked into the Stop 4 Deli and Grocery on Kingston Avenue near Bergen Street at around 10 p.m. and forced his way behind the counter while the clerk was fiddling with his cellphone, surveillance video shows. The thief trained a long-barreled revolver on the 41-year-old worker as he grabbed $600, then vaulted back over the counter and dashed off, police said. The bodega bandit is also wanted for robbing a Nostrand Avenue deli of cash and snacks early on March 19. There were no reported injuries in either holdup.The crook is believed to be in his mid to late 20s, about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds.

Police on Sunday released this sketch of a thief who robbed a hotel near JFK Airport. The bandit approached the front desk at the Hilton Garden Inn on 134th Street near South Conduit Avenue at around 6:50 p.m. March 30 and slipped a demand note to the attendant, cops said. The worker forked over $500 in cash, and the crook fled. The thief, believed to be between 25 and 35 years old, is about 5-foot-7 and has a medium build.
Cops are looking for the man who fired shots outside the Resort World Casino in South Ozone Park while a brawl was going on inside. Jaquan Roberts, 22, was identified as the shooter after detectives used facial-recognition software and surveillance video taken from the Rockaway Boulevard resort Friday, cops said. The gunfire was unrelated to the bar fight, cops said, and there were no injuries. Roberts was seen inside the casino just after the shots rang out in the parking lot at around 10:50 p.m. and then was seen driving out of one of the exits in a gray 2001 Acura, police said. The car is registered to two people with arrest records, according to detectives. The brawl inside the casino had broken out after two women had a stare-down and started to rumble while waiting in line for the opening of the Fat Tuesdays daiquiri bar. The fight sparked a full- on brawl, with dozens of raging patrons throwing punches — and even some chairs. The casino stands adjacent to Aqueduct Racetrack.
