This Bud (job and brew) could be for you

Bottoms up — it’s time for your job interview.

Beer giant Anheuser-Busch InBev is looking to hire about 50 staffers for a new office it’s opening in New York City — and happy hour is part of the process.

Friday evening socializing — with plenty of Bud and Bud Light — is part of a “multistep interviewing process” the brewer is planning as it looks to build a sophisticated sales and marketing operation in the Big Apple, according to a Crain’s New York Business report.

Still, job candidates should be careful not to overdo it on Friday night. That’s because they’ll be subjected to “panel interviews” on Saturday, grilled by Bud execs alongside other applicants.

The new office, which will soon open in Chelsea on West 24th Street, will house as many as 250 employees and feature a public beer garden on the ground floor.

The move is a cultural and strategic leap for St. Louis-based Bud. Execs said proximity to Madison Avenue and New York’s rich talent pool were key reasons for the move.
