If you watched Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” season premiere, you may have noticed the camera lingering on Daario Naharis after some naked exertions with Daenerys. But a shapely behind is only one of the reasons Dutch actor Michiel Huisman, 33, has become TV’s go-to guy when it comes to brooding hunks — he can sing, too!
Before the April 24 premiere of “The Age of Adaline,” in which Huisman co-stars with Blake Lively and Harrison Ford, fans of handsome stubble and soulful eyes may want to check out our man’s TV oeuvre. Take a look:
‘Treme’
So what if Sonny was a junkie rat fink busker? Huisman almost made you want to hang out with him. This was the first — and probably worst — in what would prove to be a healthy line of bad boys.
‘Nashville’
Huisman played Liam McGuinnis, a hunky, mercurial record producer, on the first and second seasons of ABC’s music soap. Liam’s collaboration with Connie Britton’s Rayna Jaymes proved to be rather intense, and he couldn’t help himself from pushing Scarlett’s buttons, either. And what about Juliette? Nobody was safe from the studio whiz.
‘Orphan Black’
There was more broody mysteriousness from Huisman when he popped up in the second season of BBC America’s cult sci-fi thriller as Cal Morrison, Sarah’s ex and Kira’s baby-daddy. It was probably his most sympathetic role to date.
‘Game of Thrones’
Huisman took over from Ed Skrein as skilled sellsword Daario Naharis in Season 4 and was bumped to a series regular for Season 5. You can see what Daenerys saw in Daario — a dangerous warrior with a hot bod and bedroom eyes.
Fun fact: Huisman had a supporting role in the 2006 Dutch movie “Black Book,” which starred Carice van Houten, a k a Melisandre on “GoT.”
