A celebrated classical pianist has been arrested for groping his 15-year-old music student, police sources told The Post.
David Oei, 64, allegedly touched the female student on March 28 during a lesson at his West 57th Street home between Ninth and 10th Avenue, sources said.
He touched the teen’s privates parts over her clothing, sources added.
Oei is currently in custody and charges are pending.
The chamber musician, who is married to violinist Eriko Sato, also teaches music at The New School’s Mannes College and is a head coach for Manhattan Special Olympics.
Oei’s website lists a number of professional accomplishments, including joining the Hong Kong Philharmonic at age nine — and going on to perform with the New York Philharmonic and the Pittsburgh and Baltimore Symphonies.
He and his wife are also founding members of the classical trio Aspen Soloists.
Sato didn’t immediately return a message for comment.
