Two suspects, ages 20 and 24, were being questioned, and charges were pending.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects in a 2010 East Village murder. Thompson was at East Fifth Street and Second Avenue when a gunman opened fire, hitting him in the arm and chest, said law-enforcement officials. Thompson, of East 26th Street, succumbed to his wounds at Bellevue Hospital eight days later. One of the suspects was sporting long dreadlocks, and was last seen wearing a Yankees baseball cap and a white T-shirt. His accomplice was wearing a short-sleeved, button-down shirt and had short, dark hair.

Two suspects robbed two Upper East Side stores at gunpoint Thursday, authorities said. The duo first struck at 4:05 p.m., bursting into MBA Wireless on Second Avenue near East 62nd Street and training a gun on a worker, according to law-enforcement authorities. Police said the duo fled with about $250. At 7:45 p.m. the bandits held up Cure Pharmacy on Third Avenue near East 61st Street, demanding oxycodone pills and cash. When a worker hesitated, one of the suspects fired a round into a wall, and the pair fled with $300 and a bag of pills, police said. The suspects are believed to be in their mid-to-late 30s, with both standing about 6 feet tall.
