A rapper was killed in a Queens drive-by shooting in his brand-new Porsche less than an hour after performing at a Brooklyn nightclub Sunday, police said.
Lionel Pickens, 31 — who raps under the name “Chinx” and is a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys group — was riddled with 15 bullets as he and a pal were cruising along Queens Boulevard in his silver 2015 Porsche Panamera 4 around 4 a.m., cops said.
Police said they don’t yet have a motive for the killing, but Chinx’s cousin said it was likely fueled by jealousy from rivals in his old neighborhood.
“He was not at the pinnacle but was getting very well-known,” the relative said of Chinx, who grew up in Far Rockaway, Queens.
His killer, the relative said, “was definitely someone who came to do a job, and I guess he fulfilled his job.”
The rapper put out a remix called “Hurry Up & Die Vol. 1: Get Ya Casket On” in 2009.
He was set to debut his first solo album, “Welcome to JFK,” later this year.
News of the death shocked the entertainment world.
“We’ve only known each other for a short time but it was the best time, full of memories that I will cherish forever,” read an Instagram post by Khloe Kardashian, who got to know the rapper while dating Montana last year. “I miss you Chinxy.”
The shooting occurred after Pickens dropped off a third man at the Briarwood subway station near 84th Drive.
A car heading in the opposite direction pulled up alongside his driver’s-side window.
The friend had taken only a few steps into the station before hearing the barrage of bullets, according to police.
Pickens tried to escape and drove for about a block before coming to a stop in front of a Dunkin’ Donuts.
“One guy was laying down in the driver’s seat; he laid all the way back, I could not see him,” said doughnut-shop employee Bibekananda Das, 47, referring to the slain rapper.
Pickens’ passenger, Antar Aldiadi, 27, stumbled from the car and dialed 911 as blood gushed from a wound in his back.
“There was blood all down his shirt. There was blood on the side of the car,’’ Das said. “He was bleeding fast.”
Both men were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where Pickens was pronounced dead and Aldiadi was in critical condition.
Pickens and his buddies had just left the Red Wolf nightclub in Brooklyn, police sources said.
“The show went well,” said Red Wolf manager Luis Lopez, 37, adding that Chinx took the stage around 2:30 a.m. and rapped for around 30 minutes. “There were no problems; he didn’t fight with anyone.”
“I’m just in shock,” Lopez said. “The guy was just at my club, and now he’s dead. This is just crazy.”
