Sienna and Solange heat up the romance, Kesha skates on thin ice

Ah, Cannes. The tail end of the glamour parade offered us a couple of whimsical, spring-weather winners (see: Sienna Miller and Elizabeth Debicki). Meanwhile, Kesha’s straight-off-the-ice getup gave us nothing but terrible chills.

Now this is how you work a bold shoulder. At the Cannes premiere of “Macbeth,” the statuesque actress was a vision in white, floral-embroidered Giambattista Valli.

Emma Stone

For a West Hollywood screening of her new film “Aloha,” Stone slipped into an Emilio Pucci grey tulle dress with pearl embellishment. A fringe mini could easily veer in a flashy direction, but on the fair-skinned waif it was nothing short of refined.

Sienna Miller

This was the year of Sienna Miller on the Cannes red carpet — and the actress’ closing ceremony ensemble proved exactly why. The star played the modern romantic in this cornflower-blue Gucci dress, complete with leather spaghetti-strap bodice and gossamer lace train.

Solange Knowles

At a Veuve Clicquot launch event in London, the singer opted for a sleek, caped Marios Schwab creation that she sashayed in to perfection in a video she shared on Instagram.

The misses:

Brandy Norwood

Brandy showed up to the #StarsInTheAlley outdoor concert in NYC to flex her killer arms — too bad her dress was blah. The tights? Even worse. And what’s up with the Mary Janes?

Hailee Steinfeld

Mark it: Wednesday’s “Barely Lethal” Hollywood premiere witnessed a fashion fail from typically on-point teen Hailee Steinfeld. We appreciated a good risk, but this David Koma bondage-inspired dress does absolutely nothing for her.

Kesha

Oh c’mon, Kesha! You were doing so well, and certainly didn’t need to go raiding Tara Lipinski’s closet for this pool-party event at club Rehab in Las Vegas. A swimsuit might have sufficed.

Zendaya’s another one who usually gets it right, but this Vivienne Westwood tartan suit — donned at a West Hollywood event hosted by the brand — is just tacky.
