‘Co-author’ says she was never paid for ex-NYPD chief’s memoir

An upstate woman is suing disgraced ex-NYPD Commissioner Bernie Kerik, saying she co-wrote his memoir “Jailer to Jailed” but was cheated out of credit, payment and royalties.

Dara DAddio, 56, and her “former close friend” Kerik collaborated on the book starting in 2010, with both of them editing, revising and writing drafts, she claims in the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court.

Kerik’s attorney Tim Parlatore said DAddio’s help was voluntary. When the relationship soured, “for close to two years” she “stalked, threatened and harassed Kerik,” who plans to countersue, he said.
