The Bronx

A crook hit the jackpot when he swiped a bag containing more than $20,000 from an unlocked SUV, authorities said. The suspect took the loot-filled bag from a Ford Explorer parked at the corner of Webster Avenue and East 178th Street in Mount Hope at 5:10 p.m. on July 24, police said. The 40-year-old victim, who owns several ATM machines across the city, had made a quick stop at a bodega, and discovered the bundle of cash missing upon returning to the SUV. The bandit made a quick getaway in a Honda Odyssey minivan.The suspect is still at large and, according to surveillance footage obtained by police, he was last seen concealing his face with dark shades and a baseball cap.

A woman picked a man’s pocket aboard a subway train in University Heights, authorities said. The 55-year-old victim was riding a northbound 4 train at around 10:30 a.m. July 24 when the woman reached into his back pocket and removed his wallet without him noticing, cops said. She then left the train and used the victim’s debit and credit cards to buy goods at several establishments, including bodegas, gas stations and clothing stores, cops said.

Brooklyn

Police released new photographs of two suspects who held up a Bedford-Stuyvesant business at gunpoint, cops said. The gun-toting men walked into RDJ International on Stuyvesant Avenue near Lafayette Avenue around 3:50 p.m. on July 13 and demanded two workers fork over cash, cops said. The male employees, 51 and 27, handed over two cellphones, credit cards and $500 in cash, cops said. One suspect is about 6-foot-1, 245 pounds and bald. He was last seen wearing white sneakers, a gray “New York” T-shirt and black sweat pants, cops said. The other suspect is about 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shoes, green pants, a black jacket and a do-rag.

Manhattan

Police have arrested a man who sexually assaulted a woman after breaking into her West Village apartment from the fire escape, authorities said. Jeffrey Joseph, 35, entered a building near the corner of Hudson Street and West 10th Street at around 5 a.m. last Thursday before walking to the rear, where he began scaling the fire escape, cops said. He climbed through a second-floor window and made his way into the apartment where the 43-year-old victim was sleeping. He groped her and then fled when she woke up screaming, cops said. Joseph, a Staten Island resident, was apprehended Monday and charged with burglary and sex abuse.

Staten Island

A man was arrested for stabbing another man several times during a fight outside an Arden Heights night club, law enforcement sources said. Vincent Constantino, 26, allegedly stabbed the 23-year-old victim multiple times in the torso and slashed his neck with a sharp object during a dispute outside the Unique Lounge on Arthur Kill Road at around 1 a.m. on July 23, sources said. The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital. Constantino was arrested and charged with several counts of assault, possession of a deadly weapon and harassment, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

A routine traffic stop in Bulls Head escalated into a wild foot chase after the driver tried to make a quick getaway, according to law-enforcement sources. Arthur Krumrey, 43, was speeding down Richmond Hill Road near Rockne Avenue on July 25 shortly after 6:30 p.m. when officers pulled him over, according to a Criminal Court complaint. When cops approached the 2014 black Infiniti, they allegedly noticed marijuana burning in the suspect’s center console, according to sources. Before the officers could arrest Krumrey, he bolted from the car and fled on foot. During the foot chase, the suspect allegedly ditched a plastic bag with more than half an ounce of cocaine before hopping over several fences in a desperate bid to elude the cops. Officers finally caught Krumrey in front of 30 Northport Lane. He was arrested and slapped with several drug possession charges and resisting arrest.
