Gia Coppola has been keeping busy since directing pal James Franco in 2013’s “Palo Alto.” The 28-year-old granddaughter of Francis Ford Coppola spent the summer curating an Italian cinema series with Peroni, modeled in a Rodarte campaign earlier this year, and is revamping her own line of wine, aptly named Gia.
“Unlike [making] a movie, with wine you can keep on perfecting it each year after you’ve done it,” she tells Threads. Just don’t expect her to put out a rosé anytime soon. “Once I played rosé pong instead of beer pong,” she says with a laugh, “and ever since that I can’t drink rosé anymore.”
