Despite favorable reviews, the Rob Lowe comedy “The Grinder” is fading in the ratings, according to Variety.
In fact, Fox has a problem with its entire Tuesday night lineup, which kicks off at 8 p.m. with the John Stamos series “Grandfathered” and concludes with the sorority send-up “Scream Queens.”
The Stamos series is only pulling in roughly 4 million viewers and an anemic 1.1 in the 18-to-49 demographic. Lowe has an audience slightly over 3 million (and a deadly 0.5 in the demo). “Scream Queens” is 29 percent off its premiere numbers, from 1.7 to 1.2 in the 18-to-49 demo, with a total viewers figure of just 2.9 million.
These shows are not the only ones in trouble, though. ABC’s “The Muppets” continues to lose ground from its enthusiastically received first week, with a mere 4.8 million total viewers and a tragic 1.7 in the 18-to-49 demo.
