Bindi Irwin’s WTF? contract shocker

Bindi Irwin hasn’t been paid for “Dancing With the Stars” — because she doesn’t have a release from her dead father, “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin.

A judge rejected the 17-year-old Irwin’s “DWTS” contract — which was submitted by ABC lawyers — because it wasn’t signed by Steve Irwin, who died in 2006, according to TMZ.com.

Bindi’s mom, Terri Irwin, has signed a form stating that she surrenders all rights to money Bindi earns on “DWTS” this season.

The judge now says she won’t sign off on the contract until Steve Irwin signs the same form. It’s unclear if the judge is unaware that Steve Irwin died, or if she just wants to see his death certificate, according to the report.

Bindi, who’s still on the hit ABC show after eight weeks, earns $125,000 a week. She could earn an additional $50,000 per week if she makes it to Week 10 and 11, according to TMZ.

Steve Irwin was killed in September 2006 at the age of 44 when he was attacked by a stingray.
