Recant witness in football player’s killing: ‘This DA f- -ked me over’

A key witness in the 2003 Mark Fisher murder case was caught on tape agreeing to help get the convicted killer sprung by recanting his testimony, in a bid for revenge on the prosecutor.

“I can turn around and say everything was a lie,” witness John Avitto told a private eye hired by the mother of John Giuca, who was convicted in 2005 of killing Fisher, a college football star.

Avitto agreed to take back his testimony because he hated Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney Anna Sigga-Nicolazzi, according to the tape played Thursday at a Brooklyn court hearing to see whether Giuca should get a new trial.

Avitto believes the prosecutor reneged on a deal in which he would be treated leniently for a burglary charge in return for testifying against Giuca.

“Yo, this f- -king DA f- -ked me over so bad,” Avitto told the PI, a former NYPD detective named Jay Salpete.

“I’m willing to f- -k her over bad,” Avitto continued on the tape, presented to rebut Avitto’s testimony Monday in which he recanted his original trial testimony.

“If you want to f- -k her over, now’s the time,” Salpeter, hired by the Giuca camp, can be heard saying.

Nicolazzi denies promising Avitto leniency in his burglarly case and is expected to testify next week.
