Russians write ‘For Paris’ on bombs destined for Syria

Russian airmen will soon be wiping out ISIS thugs with high-powered bombs scrawled with the defiant messages “For Paris” and “For ours.”

A video released Friday by the Russian Defense Ministry shows Russians inscribing their FAB-250/M62 high-explosive bombs with the supportive statements as they prepare their Su-34 attack jets for takeoff at a Syrian air base.

“Pilots and technicians of Hmeymim Air Base have sent their message to terrorists by priority airmail,” reads a caption accompanying the YouTube post.

The video shows Russian airmen signing “For Paris” on some of the bombs and “For ours” on others.

Russia has stepped up its attacks against the terror group since a bomb believed to be planted by ISIS supporters blew up a Russian charter jet in Egypt, killing all 224 people on board.

The show of support for Paris comes after French President François Hollande asked world leaders Wednesday to put aside their “sometimes diverging interests” to defeat the Islamic State terror group together.

On Friday, Russia fired 18 rockets from warships in the Caspian Sea at seven “terrorist positions” in Raqqa, Idlib and Aleppo, according to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

He added that Russian strikes have destroyed 15 oil facilities and 525 tankers operated by the terrorists — depriving them of $1.5 million a day in income.

More than 600 militants were killed in one strike in the province of Deir el Zour, the minister also said.

In the last four days alone, Russian warplanes have flown 522 missions, destroying more than 800 targets in the process, Shoigu said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the Syrian operation, but said it was “still not sufficient” to destroy the terror group — and said a “large volume of work” has yet to be done.
