A woman reported she was raped at gunpoint early Saturday in Central Park near Columbus Circle, police sources told The Post.
The victim told cops that a man pulled a gun on her near West 39th Street and Ninth Avenue around 5 a.m., and ordered her to walk with him, sources said.
The assailant led her more than a mile, past Columbus Circle and into the southwest corner of Central Park, where the assault allegedly occurred, sources said.
The victim, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was taken to an area hospital.
Detectives interviewed the woman Saturday in an attempt to verify her story and obtain a description of her assailant.
