Breaking up is hard to do. But after his split with model Gigi Hadid, it looks like Joe Jonas is ready to cut loose to cope.
Why else would he rent a massive, $2,600-per-night party pad with seven bedrooms that overlooks LA’s Runyon Canyon?
TMZ reports that the formerly chaste middle Jonas brother, who is currently touring with a surprisingly good band of his own, DNCE, is shelling out for a pad listed on Airbnb for $2,595 a night.
Beyond the Airbnb photos — which reveal the 7,000-square-foot home’s contemporary architecture, funky luxe interiors and incredible views — the spread is also up for sale. The owner, actor Balthazar Getty of “Alias” and “Brothers and Sisters,” is seeking a buyer willing to cough up $10.25 million for ownership privileges.
In the meantime, Jonas must be taking full advantage of the pool, Jacuzzi, fire pits and movie theater at this house on a hill, whose best assets are the breathtaking 270-degree panoramas of Los Angeles that are plainly visible through seemingly endless floor-to-ceiling windows.
Jonas even posted an Instagram photo of a big family Thanksgiving dinner he hosted there, commenting: “Best thanksgiving yet with the fam. Feeling at home in our @airbnb.”
Jonas is also using the house as a backdrop for a slew of fun social media gags with Cole Whittle, another member of DNCE.
And remember, Jonas is probably getting a break on that steep nightly price, given that he’s hunkering down for the foreseeable future. The 26-year-old is effectively homeless — having recently sold his traditional West Hollywood house for $2.9 million, according to Variety.
Why buy when you can rent?
