Dear Giants,
Put up or shut up.
Signed, NFL.
The league has determined the Giants’ game at Minneapolis on Dec. 27, scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff, will be flexed to the 8:30 p.m. prime time NBC Sunday Night Football game. There’s one caveat, though: The Giants must first beat the Dolphins on Monday night at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens.
If the Giants do not beat the Dolphins, their game against the Vikings will remain a 1 p.m. start, and the Steelers-Ravens game in Baltimore will flex to prime time.
Got it? Clearly, if the Giants fall to 5-8, they will be deemed out of the race for the NFC East title and not suitable for national television.
