Google Glass is back and it still looks stupid

Google just can’t seem to quit you, Google Glass. And now it seems Google has created a second-generation device called “Google Glass: Enterprise Edition” that smartly targets the enterprise market and not the consumer market, as new photos contained in an FCC filing posted over 9to5Google reveal. If you were expecting a big design overhaul to make the device look more stylish than the first-generation model, you’re going to be disappointed.

As you can see, it’s still a headpiece that goes right over your ear and features a small display that projects images right onto your eyes. And it also still features a camera on top that is sure to freak out people if you wear the device while out at a bar.

“The device has a more robust build, a larger prism, and has a hinge that allows it to fold and is built to withstand bumps and bruises in the workplace,” 9to5Google comments. “We also reported that the device is waterproof and closed-off, as to protect it from debris and other substances that may damage the hardware.”
