Manhattan exec who tried to sexually assault a female employee passed out drunk before he could finish the foul act, she claims in a lawsuit.
Christine Domingo was newly hired and in New York for two weeks of training with Choice Logistics when James Adams, the chief operating officer, invited her for drinks.
He cajoled her to stay out until closing time, she says in Manhattan federal court papers filed against the technology-parts delivery company.
When they returned to the building where both were staying, Adams allegedly forced her into his apartment.
He then “attempted” to have sex with her during the 2014 incident, but “was unable to do so” because he passed out, she claims.
She fled but confronted him the next day, when he told her, “We are not going to speak of it again.”
Adams sent her back to California without training and saddled her with one of the company’s most difficult clients, leading to a “retaliatory pattern of isolating her and taking steps to doom her ability to succeed at Choice, which ultimately resulted in her unlawful termination,” she says.
Domingo is seeking unspecified damages.
Choice Logistics didn’t respond to a message. Adams couldn’t be reached.
