An Upper East Side halal vendor has repeatedly dumped a foul stew of greasy sludge on Second Avenue, near the corner of 65th Street, at the end of his shift, neighbors told The Post.
Matt Zagon, an investment banker, snapped photos on April 25 of a disgusting, soupy pile of “meats and batter” about a foot off the curb at 1239 Second Ave.
“He dumped his s- -t right out of the back of the truck. It was like he cleared off the grill. There were lemons on top of it. There were birds eating it,” he fumed.
When The Post confronted vendor Ebarahm Ahmed with the photos the night of May 6, he called his boss, the cart owner, Emad Hassanein, who denied the story.
“This is not my garbage. Somebody else did this,” Hassanein said. “I’ve been here 11 years. I clean this spot every week. I tell [Ahmed] if you see anything, call the cops.”
