The legend of Jeremy Lin has spread to Iceland.
The point guard and NBA fan favorite apparently made his way to Nordic islands, where he helped a 14-year-old local live his dream, according to Iceland Magazine.
The soon-to-be free agent visited an ice cream parlor, when Júlíus Orri Ágústsson saw the former Knick, who spent this season with Charlotte. Júlíus’ mother asked Lin if he wanted to play in their backyard with her son, which resulted in the video clip above — Jeremy Lin vs. an impressive (and tall) 14-year-old, with a snowy mountain backdrop in the land of the midnight sun.
It’s not the NBA playoffs, but it’s a pretty nice destination for Lin.
As for the game itself? Lin wasn’t quite in Linsanity mode, but it’s still satisfying to see an all-world NBA player get schooled by a teen.
