The problems just keep adding up for Johnny Manziel.
Adding fuel to a litany of legal troubles and personal disgraces, the trainwreck quarterback reportedly is being investigated by the NFL over his involvement in the car accident on the Sunset Strip last month, when he was riding shotgun as enabling pal Ryan Silverstein steered a rental Mercedes into a lightpole.
Neither was charged with a crime in the driving snafu. However, Wayne Schneider of PCLA luxury vehicle rentals alleges to TMZ that the troubling twosome refuse to pay the $90,000 for the damages sustained to the Benz and Manziel has welched on an I.O.U. to purchase him a new ride. It appears Schneider also has reached out to the NFL, with league investigators pressing for details about the incident.
This development comes days after Manziel was tossed from a Las Vegas nightclub for allegedly punching a fellow patron during a surprise Drake set at the Aria hotel. Last month, the unemployed 23-year-old was indicted for domestic violence stemming from an incident with his ex-girlfriend in January.
