A Rikers Island inmate awaiting trial for two home invasions tried to have the witnesses rubbed out from behind bars — by instructing his girlfriend and father to pay someone $10,000 to carry out the hits, the Queens District Attorney said Monday.
Edward Leasure, 36, was originally arrested in March 2015 for robbing a club owner at his Queens home and then taking a family hostage nearby.
While awaiting trial earlier this month, Leasure asked his girlfriend, Latisha Larrymore, 31, and father, Eddie Marcus, 53, to arrange the hits, authorities said.
They were all charged with criminal solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy.
