A 24-year-old Queens man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of Gov. Andrew Cuomo aide Carey Gabay last year.

Micah Alleyne is charged with murder, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon for the Sept. 7 shooting before the West Indian Day Parade in Crown Heights, police said.

He was arraigned Friday morning in Brooklyn Criminal Court and held without bail.

Gabay, 43, a Harvard-educated lawyer, got caught in the crossfire between two rival gangs during the early-morning J’Ouvert celebration.

He was struck in the head and died nine days later.

Alleyne went on the lam for eight months before cops arrested him Thursday at 3:30 a.m., police said.

“Carey Gabay was an exemplary public servant who lost his life in a senseless tragedy,” said Cuomo in a statement. “Today’s arrest is a major step forward in the pursuit of justice for Carey’s family and loved ones. I commend the investigators and prosecutors for their tireless efforts to ensure those responsible for Carey’s death are held fully accountable for their actions.”

Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson called Gabay’s murder “senseless.”

“As I have said from the beginning, we are determined to get justice for Mr. Gabay and his family. And we will continue to press forward until we hold everyone responsible for his death accountable,” said Thompson in a statement.
