Police released this sketch of a man who tried to lure a young girl into a stairwell in Morris Heights. The creep followed the 12-year-old victim into the elevator of a building near the corner of Walton Avenue and 175th Street and threatened to hurt her if she didn’t follow him into a stairwell on July 25 at about 2:30 p.m., cops said. When the elevator door opened, the girl ran down the hallway and began pounding on an apartment door and yelled for help. The suspect fled. He is described as around 20 years old with a slim build.
Brooklyn
A thug pushed his way into a woman’s Williamsburg apartment and tried to rob her at knifepoint, authorities said. The 27-year-old victim was opening the door to her home on Taylor Street near Bedford Avenue Tuesday at about 11:30 p.m. when the suspect came up behind her and forced his way inside. The intruder, believed to be in his late teens, grabbed a kitchen knife and warned the victim to keep quiet. When the woman screamed, he fled empty-handed. Two thieves have robbed at least five food-delivery people since last month, authorities said. They first struck July 26 in Prospect Heights when they sprayed a 17-year-old delivery boy in the face with an unknown substance on Saint Marks Avenue while demanding he hand over a large food order.
The victim suffered an eye injury and was treated at Interfaith Hospital. In the most recent incident last Saturday afternoon, the suspects held up a 28-year-old man as he was delivering pizzas on Dean Street in Crown Heights, cops said. One of the men grabbed the victim by the throat while the other took his wallet containing $160 and credit cards. They also stole seven pizzas.
Two crooks held up a Sanitation worker at gunpoint as he was collecting garbage early Thursday in Sunset Park, police said. The worker, who was loading trash into a truck on Ninth Avenue and 41st Street at about 3 a.m., turned his wallet over to the gunman, but asked the robber to return the billfold, cops said. “The victim asked for his wallet back because he had his ID in there,” a police source said. “The suspect removed about $10 and threw it back to him.” The Sanitation worker’s partner was in the truck’s cab and was unaware of the mugging.
A 16-year-old boy barged into his father’s Bed-Stuy apartment with an accomplice and tied his dad’s wrists with a cable before robbing him, police sources said. The pair struck Monday at about 10:30 p.m. at the apartment on Lexington Avenue near Marcy Avenue and took the victim’s wallet, keys, cellphone and $60, sources said.

A woman was raped inside a Flushing karaoke bar, authorities said. The suspect began chatting with the 52-year-old victim at Flower Karaoke on Crocheron Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. on July 14.
They socialized at the bar for nearly two hours before the man lured her into one of the private karaoke rooms and raped her, police said. He is described as being an Asian male in his 40s or 50s and was last seen wearing an orange shirt and black pants. He spoke Korean, cops said.

Cops are looking for an arsonist responsible for setting fire to two Upper East Side businesses. The suspect torched the entryway of La Mode Organic Cleaners on East 82nd Street on July 26, police said. On Aug. 3, the same suspect set fire to the front of a consignment shop called Gentlemen’s Resale on East 81st Street, cops said. Police released this sketch of a man wanted for sexually assaulting a woman in a subway station after she missed the train, authorities said. The attack occurred in the 23rd Street station on the No. 6 line last Saturday at about 10:30 p.m. The attacker is described as being a muscular Hispanic man in his 30s, about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds. He has a shaved head and a goatee.
