Three sisters, who built three side-by-side homes along the Hamptons’ picturesque Poxabogue Pond, have put their massive family compound on the market for $65 million.
Marsha, Linda and Jane Held grew up hearing about how close their father was to his family in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
They wanted to replicate that feeling of familial togetherness on the East End.
But now that the Helds’ children are grown and scattered across the country, it is time to sell.
The 32-acre property includes three buildable lots that are two acres each and 18 acres of reserve for those with “vintner, aborist, foodie or equestrian aspirations,” according to the listing.
The open farm fields are a natural habitat for birds and wildlife. The three houses are on their own private strip, Poxabogue Pond Road.
