A-train service is back up and running in upper Manhattan after authorities failed to corner a tiny kitty that sent the MTA into a tizzy on Thursday.
The adorable kitten was spotted by the crew of a northbound A train as it pulled into the 175th Street stop at about 10:50 am.
MTA officials say they don’t know where the cat came from. No human has come forward to say they lost their pet, they said.
The A trains were not running between 168th and 207th streets while cops searching for the feline. But they couldn’t find it and eventually gave up. The train went back into regular service about an hour later.
This isn’t the first time a cat has fouled up subway service in the city. In 2013, the agency shut down the B and Q lines in the Brooklyn for two hours when a pair of tabbies got loose on the tracks.
