A 15-year-old boy is clinging to life after he was struck by a motorcycle in Flatbush Tuesday afternoon, cops said.
The teen was crossing East 43rd Street near Church Avenue at 4:05 p.m. when a motorcyclist heading north rammed into him, according to police.
“I was in the backyard and heard the [motorcycle] going very fast,” said Janet Barrett, 46, who lives nearby, adding that the driver was trying to beat the light.
Barrett said the boy was in a group of kids walking from the Northeastern Academy Brooklyn Campus/Excelsior SDA School at Church Avenue and East 45th Street.
“All the kids were crying,” she said.
“He was not moving a lot,” added a woman who works at Blake’s International Restaurant nearby. “He was face-down.”
The boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the 30-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Brookdale with non-life-threatening neck injuries.
Cops did not know Tuesday night whether the motorcyclist would face any charges.
