A twisted Manhattan couple forced a woman into a sadomasochistic sex romp while they were partying at the Sundance Film Festival, authorities allege.
Soho residents Anne Hardcastle, 27, and Michael Taylor, 45, were busted early Friday morning at their Thompson Street apartment by the New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force for allegedly brutalizing the woman after luring her back to their Utah hotel room and drugging her earlier this year, officials said.
On January 25, the victim was hanging out with friends in a Park City bar when she crossed paths with the couple, who told her they were in town to attend the film festival, official documents reveal.
Taylor started plying the woman — who is in her 20’s – with several rounds of tequila shots while cozying up to her and ultimately inviting her to a Sundance soiree, prosecutors said.
The woman left with the couple, who suddenly claimed that they needed to go back to their hotel room for something.
The victim accompanied them to the room, where Hardcastle and Taylor brought up the idea of a threesome after giving her more to drink, as well as Ecstasy, prosecutors said.
Frightened, the victim started texting her two friends, insisting that she may soon need them to pick her up, prosecutors said. But it was then that everything “went black,” she would later tell prosecutors.
When she awoke in the sack with Hardcastle the next day, the woman immediately gathered her things and rushed to a friend’s house, prosecutors said.
Hours later, she went to the hospital to be treated for her injuries and, strangely, found an Instagram friend request from Hardcastle, prosecutors said.
The victim assisted Utah detectives during the ensuing six month probe by staying in contact with Hardcastle to develop information that resulted in the charges against both suspects.
When arrested, Taylor began babbling about his love for law enforcement, claiming that he gives donations to police organizations, one source said.
Hardcastle stood quietly nearby with a stunned expression on her face, the source added.
The pair had been drinking all night with a group of six friends and were clearly inebriated, sources said.
They were soon in handcuffs being led out of the apartment as their speechless guests quickly followed – not wanting any part of the situation, the source added.
Hardcastle allegedly confessed to authorities that she sexually molested the woman and gave her oral sex while Taylor touched the victim’s breasts.
The victim had to be hospitalized with bite marks all over her body, including her lip and neck. She also suffered pain to her vagina, officials said.
The twisted duo has been charged with rape and forcible sodomy, according to Utah law enforcement officials.
They’re currently awaiting extradition back to “The Mormon State” to face prosecution. An extradition hearing is slated for Friday in Manhattan Criminal Court.
The couple has been dating for a while and jetsetting around the world to exotic destinations, such as Rome and Barcelona, according to Hardcastle’s Instagram page.
Hardcastle even posted a smiling photo of herself in winter clothes from Park City, Utah, where the Sundance Film Festival is held every year.
