Beauty kills herself after sex tape goes viral

A raven-haired Italian beauty committed suicide over a sex tape she made with her new boyfriend that went viral after she sent it to her ex to make him jealous.

Tiziana Cantone, 31, who lived in Naples, Italy, killed herself while alone in a cellar after the embarrassing video of her performing a sex act surfaced on the worldwide web.

“They destroyed my daughter, my life and the lives of an entire family. Although in that cellar where she took her own life Tiziana was alone, morally to pull the noose around the neck were the ex-boyfriend, and those who took advantage,” Cantone’s mother, Maria Teresa Gigolo, told the Corriere della Sera newspaper on Wednesday.

It’s unclear who uploaded the racy footage to the internet, where it first appeared in 2015.

The video became such a hit that Cantone was forced to go to court to legally change her name.

She also reportedly became the butt of online jokes and was mercilessly ridiculed by cyber-bullies.

She would constantly receive mocking emails and was often shamed by pedestrians who recognized her on the street, according to the Daily Mail.

She became so distraught that she even quit her job.

Friends and family members told local Italian media that Cantone went into a deep depression and was having suicidal thoughts just prior to her death.

Her attorney, Roberta Manzillo, has taken legal action against some of the internet search engines for sharing the sex video while accusing other people of uploading it, the Daily Mail said.

“We have appealed to the right-to-be-forgotten law. Facebook was immediately ordered to remove the content from its social network platform and to remove every post or publication containing images (photos and/or video) that refer specifically to the person,” Manzillo said.

Prosecutors in Naples have launched a criminal probe to see if criminal charges are warranted in the case.
