Trump: Clinton’s too weak to campaign

She can’t stand and deliver.

That’s what Donald Trump said Wednesday about ailing rival Hillary Clinton, who he said lacked the stamina to address a packed crowd, as he did Wednesday night.

“I don’t know, folks, you think Hillary would be able to stand up here for an hour and do this? I don’t know. I don’t think so,” Trump said at a rally in Canton, Ohio.

“Me? I’m working harder also so I don’t feel sorry for any of you. You think this is easy? Oh, you think this is so easy? In this beautiful room that’s 122 degrees? It is hot and it’s always hot when I perform because the crowds are so big. These rooms were not designed for this kind of a crowd.”

Clinton has been sidelined from the campaign trail this week, recovering from pneumonia in her Chappaqua home. Trump had mostly avoided talking about her health — except to offer his well wishes.

Assessing the state of the race, Trump recalled how he was able to defy expectations and beat “17 people running” for the Republican nomination.

“Now, we have one left,” he said.

“Now, we have one left and in all fairness, she’s lying in bed, getting better and we want her better. We want her back on the trail, right?”

Clinton collapsed as she left a 9/11 memorial ceremony early on Sunday. Her campaign later revealed her pneumonia diagnosis.

Clinton will be back on the trail at an event Thursday in Greensboro, North Carolina.
