Donald Trump told supporters at a rally in Miami on Friday that Hillary Clinton’s Secret Service detail should have their firearms taken away, then added — “Let’s see what happens to her.”
Speaking about the Second Amendment, he suggested that Clinton wanted to overturn the right to bear arms.
“I think her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm immediately,” Trump told the crowd.
“Take their guns away, she doesn’t want guns. Take their — and let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away.”
This wasn’t the first time Trump raised the specter of violence against Clinton.
During a campaign rally in August, Trump said if she “gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.”
He then added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”
Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, said Trump has a “pattern of inciting people to violence.”
“This kind of talk should be out of bounds for a presidential candidate,” he said.
