This is getting repetitive but . . . “The View” has lost another co-host.
This time it’s Raven-Symoné, who announced on Thursday’s show that she’s leaving the ABC yakfest to executive-produce and star in a spinoff of her old sitcom “That’s So Raven,” which will once again air on the Disney Channel (a sister network of ABC).
Her final day on “The View” will be some time later this year.
Symoné, 30, will relocate from New York to LA to work on the new untitled series. The original show — in which she played psychic teen Raven Baxter — aired on Disney Channel from 2003-2007 and was a hit among the tween and kiddie set.
The actress will reprise her role as Baxter, who is now a divorced mother of two pre-teen kids (a son and daughter), one of whom has inherited her ability to catch glimpses of the future.
Symoné’s imminent “View” departure will leave regular co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Candace Cameron Bure, Sara Haines and Paula Faris at “The View” table.
You’d need a score card to keep track of the show’s on-camera talent shuffle over the past several years, including the departure of show co-creator Barbara Walters and original co-host Joy Behar — whose return to “The View” last season after a two-year hiatus has energized the show.
Despite all the changes, “The View” has regained its ratings mojo and is averaging 2.8 million viewers thus far this season — up 16 percent from last year.
